These are the rules for using Furnishr, run by Harshel solutions. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy.
What Furnishr is
Furnishr is a peer-to-peer marketplace for furniture in Bengaluru. We help people list items and connect with each other. Paid membership, if you choose it, pays for access on Furnishr, such as sending requests and listing limits. It is not payment for the furniture itself. Rent, sale price, deposits, pickup, and return are agreed directly between the people involved. Furnishr does not deliver items, hold them, or take that money.
Your account
- You must be 18 or older.
- Sign in with your own mobile number and keep your one-time code private. One person, one account.
- Use a display name the other person can recognise.
- Use Furnishr only for lawful furniture rentals and sales in Bengaluru.
- Do not list stolen, unsafe, illegal, or misleading items. Do not harass, spam, or abuse the service.
Requests and contact
- You can browse and save listings without a paid plan.
- Sending a request does not use a plan contact. One contact is used when an owner accepts your request.
- Owners can accept or decline pending requests. You can withdraw a request while it is still pending.
- If an owner accepts one request on a listing, that listing leaves browse. Other pending requests stay so the owner can still decline them. Accept on those requests stays unavailable until the owner makes the listing available again in My listings.
- After a rental is accepted, the listing stays in browse and is hidden only for the booked dates. The card shows when it is free again. After a sale is accepted, the listing leaves browse and stays off browse once the sale is complete. People with a direct link may still open the listing page.
- After acceptance, both people see each other's mobile number on Furnishr to arrange pickup. Everything after that, including price, deposit, timing, and condition, is between you.
- You can block someone from your requests flow. For serious conduct or safety concerns, email [email protected].
Listings
- List only furniture you own or may rent or sell.
- Describe the item honestly, with real photos, accurate price, and whether it is for rent or sale.
- PAN verification is optional. It is not required to publish. It adds a Verified badge if you complete it.
- Live listings are limited by your seller plan. If a paid seller month ends, existing listings can stay up and you can still accept requests on them; you cannot publish new listings until you are within the free limit or buy another seller month.
- You are responsible for the item at handover and for any agreement you make about damage, loss, or late return. Furnishr does not inspect or insure items.
Money between users
Furnishr is not part of the deal between a buyer or renter and a seller. We do not decide or pay for item price, deposits, damage, no-shows, missed pickups, or disagreements after money has changed hands between you. Membership charges are covered in the Refund Policy.
If rules are broken
We may warn, limit, suspend, or close an account, or remove a listing, if someone breaks these terms, misleads others, or creates a safety risk. For crime or immediate danger, contact local authorities as well as us.
Changes
We may update these terms when the service changes. The date at the top is the current version. If you keep using Furnishr after an update, you accept the updated terms. Indian law applies. Courts in Bengaluru have jurisdiction.
